Hi, I'm Olivia
I work as a project manager. I'm a parent. I'm an expat living in London, United Kingdom.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term contract gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to United Kingdom wasn’t part of the original plan. Like many international relocations, it started with a job opportunity and soon grew into something far bigger.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Everyday tasks seemed more complicated than they needed to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet gradually routines took shape. We found spots that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built MendraRavoTavro
Most online guidance was either corporate relocation tips or superficial travel content. What was missing was a genuine, everyday family perspective.
